1. General Refund Terms
Due to the nature of Tippah's services - facilitating real-time peer-to-peer tip transactions - all tips made through the platform are final and non-refundable once processed.
This is because tips are transferred directly to the intended recipient (attendant or service provider) after confirmation.
2. Erroneous Transactions
If you believe you have made a tip in error (such as incorrect amount or wrong recipient), please contact our support team immediately at info@DevMatrx.co.za with the following details:
- 1 The transaction ID
- 2 Your full name
- 3 Transaction date and time
- 4 Amount tipped
- 5 Recipient name or QR code reference
- 6 Reason for refund request
3. Processing Time
If a refund is approved, please allow 5-10 business days for the amount to be credited back to your original payment method. The actual timeframe may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- User confirmed the tip voluntarily
- The tip was successfully delivered to the recipient
- Requests made after 48 hours from the time of transaction
- Fraudulent claims or misrepresentation
